THOUGHTS + VALUES

I remember once when I was a little girl, my room being so messy that I couldn’t walk through it without stepping on and breaking what was below my feet. I remember the feeling of wanting to take control and to stop living with that frustration. My life turned a complete 180º and soon my brothers would sneak into my room, move something out of place, and my eye would immediately go to it. Everything in my small world of a room had a place. Still to this day in my world and much larger living space, everything continues to have a home and my eye still goes to something out of place.

I have valued being organized from then on. I believe in a balance of taking control of things that matter, while at the same time being able to let go of clutter. I believe in the psychological effects of being organized and the toll that being disorganized can have on us all.

Letting go of the physical clutter is also a way of letting go of the mental clutter, and not letting tangible “stuff” hold us back in life. Organizing is a learning process. I am here to help you take control by creating systems and a sense of calm so you can better function in your day to day life, allowing you more time to do the things you enjoy. I am here to help you create a beautiful and functional home and/or work environment, because with a clear space comes a clear mind.

A little more about me...

I am a native to Rockville, Maryland. After graduating from Marymount University with a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising, I moved to the West Village in NYC to pursue my career. I began managing retail and quickly shifted my skills to visual merchandising. I left the profession to focus my energy on starting a family and staying home to raise my children. After having my second son I began to wonder what my life would look like professionally when both boys were in school full time. With my keen eye for balance and detail, I began to incorporate my fashion background with my innate organizational skills, into helping clients in their own homes and businesses! I now live in Olney, Maryland with my two, adorable sons and am married to an amazing (disorganized) man. I value having the courage and creativity to be different than the average.
